What sounds like a rowdy tavern chant is actually a tragic history lesson disguised in major chords. It honors Queen Pikemead, the beloved ruler of the Golden Age, and the "three babes on 'er arm" mentioned in the verse: Lord Vorgoth (The One to Ice), King Gormander (The One to Rule), and Queen Jezmina (The One to Life). The lyric "head on a pike" takes on a grim double meaning, foreshadowing the fall of her dynasty—Vorgoth to the Shroud, Gormander to the siege, and Jezmina to the wastes.

~*~ Song Lyrics ~*~

Gather 'round, we're drinkin'!
An ode to the Queen, once young!
3 babes on 'er arm, cup filled to the brim
Thinkin' out loud, she sung:

Rather mead in my cup,
or my cup filled with rum
drink too much,
rather than be done!

Can't only have some,
So share some around,
drink too much,
rather than drink one!

Rather mead in my head,
and my head on the run
Than my head on a pike
with none!

Get the rum, and the mead
Get the mead, in the cup
Get the cup to your head
drink up!
