SUBJECT: The Connection between the "Shroud" and the "Black Oil"

I have analyzed the lore of this "Tenth Rune" game my cousin keeps playing. He thinks it's fantasy. HE IS WRONG.

Consider the evidence:

The "Ancients" disappear mysteriously? ALIEN ABDUCTION.
The "Elixir" glows and changes people? ALIEN DNA.
The "Shroud" is a hive mind? IT'S THE BLACK OIL (Purity).

I have begun writing a series of crossovers to prove this theory. Read below.

TITLE: CASE FILE X-773: "THE CORNFLOWER TWILIGHT"

SCENE START

The flashlight beams cut through the thick blue fog of the Revelwood forest. Mulder knelt down, touching the glowing blue fungus with a gloved hand.

"Look at this, Scully," Mulder said, his voice hushed. "It's not just a spore. It's terraforming. The Colonists... they aren't using bees anymore. They're using mushrooms."

Scully sighed, adjusting her lab coat (which she wore over her armor for some reason). "Mulder, there is a scientific explanation for this. I've analyzed the samples from the 'Elixir Well'. It's clearly a subterranean hallucinogen caused by industrial runoff from the North. It's not aliens."

"Then explain the Fell Dragon, Scully!" Mulder pointed his gun at the sky. "Is that a swamp gas reflection? Is that a weather balloon?"

Scully rolled her eyes. "It's likely a mutated avian species, Mulder. Gigantism caused by the chemicals. Science has answers."

Suddenly, a Vukah jumped out of the bushes!

"It's Big Foot!" Mulder yelled. "I told you!"
